Six things Athermoor does well in the Alpha. Each loop below is a short screen recording.
Workspaces
Each workspace gets its own sidebar with an Essentials grid, Pinned items and a bounded Recent list that keeps the last 40. Click an item and Athermoor focuses the tab if it is open, or opens it if it is not. It never clones a tab.
Layouts
Choose Full, Left half, Right half, Duo split or Tri split. Drag or resize the sidebar or the browser, and Athermoor puts them back into the preset you picked.
Capture
Capture the frontmost Safari or Chrome tab with one action. Or save the entire window as a tab bundle and reopen it later, in the same order.
Picture in Picture
Select a region of the screen or a window and it floats as a live, always-on-top frame. Run up to three at once, drag and resize them, and close one when you hover over it.
Scroll and sound
Get smooth scrolling for any mouse wheel. If you like it, add keyboard, mouse-click and scroll-detent sounds. Both come from the Premium helper and are part of Pro.
Bookmark Library
Search the full text of what you saved, and search inside screenshots with OCR. Add tags, and let Athermoor group items by domain. It all runs on your Mac by default.
Browsers
Athermoor places and organizes windows for the browser you pick. Tab capture is built for Safari and Chrome in this Alpha.
Pick a default browser per workspace. Tab capture works with Safari and Chrome today, more engines are on the Alpha roadmap.

Before you start
Yes. Athermoor is in Alpha and free to use while we test it. The prices above are a proposal and may change at launch.
A Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 15 or later.
Safari and Google Chrome have full support today, including tab capture. Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera, Firefox, Zen, LibreWolf and Waterfox are marked Coming soon, because tab capture is only built for Safari and Chrome in this Alpha. You can pick a default browser for each workspace, and more engines are on the Alpha roadmap.
Accessibility, so it can place windows, and Automation for each browser you capture from. A setup wizard walks you through both, and Settings shows their current status.
On your Mac. The Bookmark Library, including search and screenshot OCR, runs on-device by default.
Athermoor moves the windows back into your current layout preset. Pick a different preset any time.
